BIRMINGHAM Speedway will again carry the name of club sponsors BRC Roofing into the 2010 season.
In a big boost for the Perry Barr club, the team will continue to be known as the BRC Roofing Brummies.
And the arrangement will continue to include publicity and fund raising for Birmingham Children's Hospital.
Kevin Taylor of BRC admits he simply couldn’t resist the chance to stay with the Brummies – despite tough trading conditions.
He said: “It’s no secret that times are tough out there, particularly in our line of business, where people are doing half as much and taking twice as long to decide.
“But we simply couldn’t walk away from our speedway. We are massive fans (wife Julie is at Perry Barr with Kevin every week) and the sport is very family friendly.
Birmingham supremo Gary Patchett is thrilled to have BRC Roofing on board for his first season with the club.
He said: “I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Kevin and Julie Taylor for their support of the club. Our commercial manager, Joe McLaughlin, is working very hard on that front and Birmingham will once again enjoy good support."
The new season starts on Wednesday March 17 when Birmingham face Stoke in the first leg of the M6 Trophy at Perry Barr.
