BIRMINGHAM Speedway's commercial backing has been enhanced with the addition of a new club partner.

MET UK Ltd are a Kingswinford based company specialising in workforce recruitment.

They'll be backing the Perry Barr side throughout the 2010 campaign which starts with the M6 Trophy clash against Stoke on March 18.

Robert Tong from MET has also confirmed the company will be supporting National League side Dudley Heathens who will race five of their home meetings at Birmingham.

He said: “I'm delighted to be involved with two local teams in a sport which I feel is highly entertaining.

"I spoke to Gary Patchett (Brummies Promoter) and was delighted to be able to support both Birmingham and the Heathens.

"It should be a good season and I'm looking forward to coming along and supporting both Birmingham and the Heathens."

Meanwhile Birmingham have also revealed they only have TWO heat sponsorship vacancies remaining for next season!

Heat sponsorships include the sponsors name and logo appearing alongside the sponsored heat in every match programme, live PA announcements before and after the sponsored heat and accreditation on the popular Birmingham Speedway website.

The heat sponsors name, image and logo will also appear on 16 giant TV screens in the main grandstand.

The cost of the heat sponsorship is modest and affordable in comparison to the tremendous weekly advertising over the 25 weeks of the season. Heats 8 and 13 are available.
